With the warm weather finally here, I decided to recycle an old outdoor hobby: aerial photography. Since I stopped flying my quadcopter a few years ago, the technology has changed tremendously. I took the plunge when a new drone was announced - the DJI Phantom 3 - that had all the new technology integrated in one package. While waiting for delivery of this new model, I decided to practice my flying skills on a small indoor model, the Blade Nano QX. I put together a hoop of LEGO parts and tried flying through it. It was not easy, as you will see in this video. Click on the image to watch.
